For writing we looked at a poem called the Broken Circle and this is my poem for my nana.

The Broken Circle.

Stanza 1

A broken circle in our family.

There’s a missing braunch on our family tree.

A missing plate on the dinner table,

An empty feeling of sadness inside of me.

Stanza 2

You've left our family here on this planet,

And siblings who hold you in God’s hand.

Yet,it’s hard to bring you back it’s like

Counting sand.
